Supports game-changing initiatives on financial inclusion & financial literacy. We work closely with junior achievement Kenya to run a programme dubbed “Innovation Challenge” for high school and university students



This includes education sponsorships and supporting the creative economy.



Tree Nursery School Program

We launched a campaign called Change The Story in 2018. We have worked with various partners to plant 7 million trees across the country and develop tree nurseries

In July 2020, we kicked off development of a one million indigenous tree seedling nursery project in Karura Forest.



Ensures healthy lives and promotes well-being for all at all ages. This is also ties in well with the UN sustainable development goal number 3 as we believe prevention is better than cure. We continue to support initiatives on wellness & promotion of healthy lifestyles, hygiene & sanitization through our partners who include Beyond Zero Half Marathon, Faraja Cancer Trust Foundation, Matter Heart Run among others.



In our efforts to further scale up our Citizenship initiatives and secure sustainable development for everyone under our pillars, we remain committed as a bank to taking further steps to minimize the economic damage such as unemployment, Covid-19 effects, access to funding facing Kenyans.

We also plan to push this vision across the region including Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania.
