We will reduce our direct emissions (Scope I & II) by 50% by 2030 and align our financing decisions to the Paris Agreement. Our financing and investment decisions will be informed by an analysis of climate-related risks.
🚗 Driving Sustainable Transportation
NCBA Group is at the forefront of promoting sustainable mobility. Our region-wide deployment of Electric Vehicle charging stations across our markets will empower our customers to reduce their carbon footprint. As part of our ongoing commitment, we’ve launched a Sh2 billion electric vehicle financing initiative. This is a response to the growing customer preference for battery-powered cars, driven by climate change advocacy and the escalating global oil prices. Our efforts encompass not only the infrastructure but also the financial support needed to make eco-conscious choices in transportation.
